Everything Tandem records about your work lives in the store, a git repository of its own, never in your code. It pushes itself to your GitHub account as <you>/thinkube-tandem-store, which is its backup: restore it on a new machine and every space, delivery and record comes back.
What is in it
-
Your projects: which code repository each project belongs to.
-
Your thinking spaces: your sentences exactly as you typed them, and each space’s history, snapshot by snapshot.
-
Your signed work: each piece of work, by its number (
TEP-<author>-<n>, as the Cuts row shows it), its run’s log, the delivery with its proofs, and the reading of your code made for each sentence. -
The defect ledger: one file per month,
defects/<YYYY-MM>.jsonl, shared by every space, so deleting a space never deletes the record of what went wrong in it. The defect ledger: ODC for work done with an AI says why it is kept. -
Runs started from the command line: the records of runs started by a command typed in a terminal, rather than by a button on a page.
The store is at ~/thinkube-tandem-store in Thinkube IDE. A second machine writes to the same store through its own clone and the shared remote.
What guards it
-
Autosync. The store commits and pushes itself whenever it has changed; the pushed remote is the backup.
-
Secret scan. Every write is scanned for secret-shaped content, such as tokens, keys and private key blocks; a hit refuses the write and names the pattern.
-
Your words, verbatim. Your sentences are stored as typed and never edited by the machine.
